Helen B. Waibel, 87, of Remington, passed away on June 1, 2018. 

She was born October 8, 1930 in Colorado to the late Stephen and Viola (Martin) Butler. Helen married the late Ralph Waibel on March 7, 1965. Helen is a member of the Remington Apostolic Christian Church. Before raising children she was a teacher. Helen enjoyed playing the piano and teaching children. She enjoyed spending time with her family.  

Surviving are her four children; Sue Waibel, Dean (wife: Tammy) Waibel, Shirley Waibel all of Remington, and Sandra (husband: Loren) Hunt of Pittsboro, IN. Also surviving are grandchildren, Justin Waibel, Harmony Waibel, Ellie Hunt, and Josie Hunt; brother, John Butler of Clarksville, IN.

Preceding her in death was her husband Ralph Waibel and parents, Stephen and Viola Butler.

Friends may call from  5-7 PM (EST) Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Remington. Funeral Service 10:30 AM (EST) with an hour prior visitation Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Remington Apostolic Christian Church. Ministers of the Church to officiate. Interment will immediately follow in Remington Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
