Keith A. Blanchette, 60, a lifetime Wolcott resident, passed away at 3:14 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Indiana University White Memorial Hospital in Monticello.

He was born August 10, 1957 to Kenneth Blanchette and the late Janet (Hoppe) Blanchette. Keith was a 1975 graduate of Tri-County High School.

His marriage was to Lou Anne Heinzelman on August 9, 1998 in Wolcott; she survives.

Keith worked for Alcoa of Lafayette after 16 years. After leaving there he worked for B&M Towing of Wolcott for several years. He most recently worked for Doc Flora at RPM for 15 years.

He enjoyed music, hunting, cooking and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. More than anything he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.

Surviving with his wife Lou Anne are three children, Angel Balchunas of Wolcott, Kacy Carter of Bakersfield, CA and Kari Cunningham of Lafayette; his father, Kenneth Blanchette of Wolcott; a sister, Julie Brennan of Lafayette and a brother, Kevin Blanchette (wife: Angie) of Clermont, FL. Keith cherished his 8 grandsons, Avery, Jordyn, Shay, Dylan, Carl, Mayson, Jake and Riley.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Foster-Clapper Funeral Home (202 W. School Street Wolcott, IN).

Memorials may be made in his name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
