Randy A. Williamson, 58, of Wolcott, passed away unexpectedly at 11:38 AM, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at St. Elizabeth East of Lafayette.

He was born October 25, 1959 to Paul I. and Learee E. (Baker) Williamson, she survives. He was a 1978 graduate of Tri-County High School. Randy was a member of the Reynolds Bible Baptist Fellowship Church.

Randy was a former member of the Rensselaer Volunteer Fire Department. He also worked for the City of Rensselaer for several years until he retired. Randy enjoyed spending his time going to races at Shady Hill Speedway, going out to the farm whenever he was able, watching football, and following # 88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. in NASCAR.

Surviving along with his mother are children, Jeremy (wife: Hannah) Williamson of Rensselaer, and Caressa (fiancé: Christopher) Williamson of Monticello; grandchildren, Blake, Jared, Cadence, Samuel, Logan, and Gavin. Also surviving is a brother, Gary (wife: Michelle) Williamson of Glasgow, KY.

Preceding him in death along with his father are maternal grandparents, Fred and Minnie Baker; paternal grandparents, Ira Charles and Hallie Williamson; uncles, Rodger Baker and Dale Cox.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM (EST) Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Foster-Clapper Funeral Home of Wolcott. Funeral Service 11 AM (EST) Thursday, December 21, 2017 also at Foster-Clapper Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Wolcott Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
