Marjorie E. Kiifner, 90, of Kentland, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born September 17, 1927 in Goodland, IN to the late Herbert and Grace (Bohanan) Farrell. Marjorie graduated from Goodland High School in 1945.

Her marriage was to Jack M. Kiifner on January 22, 1948, Jack preceded her in death in 1997.

Marjorie was a bookkeeper for Sheldon School District until her retirement after 35 years.

Surviving are her children, Kathy E. (husband: Norm) Huber of Bloomington, IL, Connie L. Davis of Kentland, IN, and James F. (wife: Madonna) Kiifner of Kentland, IN; brothers, Daniel (wife: Lois) Farrell of Bradenton, FL, and Michael Farrell of Goodland, IN. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband are children, Jacqueline Kiifner, William J. Kiifner and Jack E. Kiifner.

Friends may call from 9 AM (CST) until the time of Funeral Mass 11 AM (CST) Saturday, December 9, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Kentland. Fr. Robert Bernotas to officiate. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marjorie’s name to Iroquois Memorial Hospital, Franciscan Hospice, or St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kentland.
