Wilford W. Tesky, 89, of Kentland, passed away at 7:51 AM, Sunday, November 26, 2017 at his residence.

He was born August 10, 1928 in Beulah, ND to the late Karl and Barbara (Flemmer) Tesky. Wilford served in the United States Military during the Korean War.

His first marriage was to Rosemary Metseh in 1952, she preceded him in death on October 5, 2014. He later married Joan Loretto, she preceded him in death in March of 2017.

Wilford was born and raised in North Dakota, he has lived in the Kentland area for the last 40 years. He retired in 1997 after 28 years from Perpak Corporation of Brook. Wilford was a master engineer, he was always building and inventing something. He also loved to spend time outdoors, especially fishing.

Surviving are children, Dorothy Rahmoeller of Lake Village, Carol Henke of Mahomet, IL, Douglas Tesky Lakeland, FL, Raymond (Robin) Tesky of Kentland, Paul (Teresa) Tesky of Wheatfield, Kenneth Tesky of Lafayette, Joe Tesky of Goodland, and David Tesky of Kentland. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by siblings, Jake Tesky, David Tesky, and Ernest Tesky; daughter, Beverly Stanker and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 PM (CST) until the time of Funeral Service 6 PM (CST) Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Kentland. Fr. Robert Bernotas to officiate. Private inurnment at a later date.

Memorials may be made in Wilford’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
