Betty J. Durflinger, 77, of Kentland, passed away peacefully at 8:00 PM, October 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 24, 1940 in Watseka, IL to the late Freemont and Norma E. (Lavoie) Wilson.

Her marriage was to George R. Durflinger and he preceded her in death on September 26, 2017.

Betty loved caring for her mother, taking care of the family’s children, and listening to gospel and country music.

She is survived by her children, Duane “Mary” Hull of St. Anne, IL, Ronnie Hull of Kentland, and Wanda Stone of Kentland. She is also survived by her brother Bob “Tom Cat” Wilson of Rensselaer; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband is a daughter, Ronda Melton, and 4 sisters.

Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
