LeeAnne Lehr, 45, of Lafayette, passed away at 10:20 PM, October 17, 2017 at IU Health Hospital of Lafayette.

She was born July 17, 1972 in Frankfort, IN to Robert L. Smith Jr. and Bettie (Hutchens) Cole. She was a 1991 graduate of Freemont Baptist Academy of Crawfordsville.

Her marriage was to Scott Lehr on March 29, 2002 at Grace and Mercy Ministries of Crawfordsville, he survives.

LeeAnne was a member of Grace and Mercy Ministries ministry team, and board member for Camp Destiny of Hartford City, IN. She volunteered at Cancer Support Community of Central IN, former store manager at Cato of Lafayette, and most recently was employed by Purdue University.

LeeAnne enjoyed spending her time reading, outdoor walks, and time spent with family and friends. Most of all, LeeAnne was always very caring and willing to lend a helping hand when able.

Surviving are her parents, Robert L. Smith Jr. of Crawfordsville, and Bettie (David) Cole of Lafayette; husband, Scott Lehr of Lafayette; son, JT Lehr of Lafayette; step-sons, Derrick (Luana) Chaney of New York, NY, and Dustin Brock of Indianapolis; step-daughter-in-law, Christie Brock of Indianapolis; grandson, Ephraim Brock; brother, Robert Brian Smith of Crawfordsville; sister-in-law, Angie (Jason) Bridwill of Lafayette, affectingly known as “Aunt Lamie”. Also surviving is brother-in-law, Todd (Stephanie) Morgan of Evansville; father-in-law, Ronald (Janet) Lehr of New Market, IN; paternal grandmother, Gerry Smith of Crawfordsville; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

LeeAnne is preceded in death by her step-mother, Susie Smith; mother-in-law, Sue Lehr; maternal grandparents, Sheldon and Kathryn Hutchens; paternal grandparents, Robert Smith Sr. and Ilena Dexter.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM (EST) Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Grace and Mercy Ministries (257 W. Oak Hill Rd. Crawfordsville, IN 47933). Funeral Service 10:30 AM (EST) Monday, October 23, 2017 also at Grace and Mercy Ministries. Pastor Nathan Miller and Bishop Robert Miller to officiate. Interment to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
