LaVina R. Beckley, 83, of Remington, died peacefully at 1:00 am on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at her home. She was born March 5, 1934 to the late Herman and Emma (Witzig) Beckley. She graduated from Gilboa High School. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.

Surviving is her sister, Velda Beckley of Remington; brother, LeRoy Beckley (wife: Donalou) of Kansas; brother-in-law, Ken Schneider (wife Bernice) of Remington; sister-in-law, Nancy Beckley of Remington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Emma Beckley; brother Elmer Beckley (wife Nancy); sisters, Wilma Baer (dec. Neal); Loretta Schneider (Ken); nephew, Don Beckley; great nephew, Jade Schneider.

Friends may call from 4-8 pm (EST) at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home in Remington on Monday, July 31, 2017. Funeral will be held at Remington Apostolic Christian Church at 10:30 am with viewing one hour prior, Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Interment will follow in the Remington Apostolic Christian Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Creekside Villa or Remington Apostolic Christian Church.
