Mona M. Bartlett, 81, of Monon, passed away surrounded by family at 2:24 AM, July 1, 2017 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital of Lafayette. She was born September 3, 1935 in Chicago, IL to the late Phillip and Lena (Viverrito) Tascone. She was a 1952 graduate of CVS High School of Chicago.

Her marriage was to Walter (Bud) Bartlett on May 28, 1994 in Reynolds. He preceded her in death on March 15, 2004. Mona was a Monon resident for over 45 years.

She was a long time member of the Christ's Church of Monticello. She enjoyed spending her time working outdoors, raising white German Shepherds, gardening, flipping houses, working on puzzles, and so much more. Mona will be deeply missed by her friends and family.

Surviving are her children, Sherry (boyfriend: Joe Krutz) Green of Logansport, Dan (girlfriend: Chris Waddell) Beckefeld of Lafayette, Ray (girlfriend: Nell) Beckefeld of Lafayette, and Darrin (wife: Angela) Beckefeld of Lombard, IL; brother, Carl (wife: Joyce) Tascone of Worth, IL. Also surviving are grandchildren, Veronica, Daniel, Charity, Zach, Roman, and Christian; great-grandson, Blaize.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM (EST) Friday, July 7, 2017 at Clapper Family Funeral Home of Monon. Funeral Service 11 AM (EST) with an hour prior visitation Saturday, July 8, 2017 also at Clapper Family Funeral Home. Kevin Hart to officiate. Interment to follow in IOOF Riverview Cemetery of Monticello.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mona’s name to Christ's Church of Monticello.
