Cynthia Kerr Kelly, 54, of Brookston passed away unexpectedly at 4:27 PM, Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Franciscan Health in Lafayette, IN.

She was born June 18, 1962 in Eldorado, Illinois to Willard and Karolyn (Uselton) Kerr and was a 1980 graduate of Frontier High School.

Her marriage was to Mike Kelly on January 25, 2008 in Indianapolis; he survives.

Mrs. Kelly was a long time employee of Landis & Gyr of Lafayette.

Cindy considered family the most important thing, to her family was her life. She loved the family get-togethers and cookouts; baking was her favorite. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and collecting dreamsicles and most anything purple.

Surviving with her husband, Mike is a son, Josh Barrett of Brookston; her parents Hank and June Kerr of Brookston; a brother, Bill Kerr of Brookston; and a sister, Debby Summers of Brookston. Also surviving are two nieces, Katie Summers and Cassie Kerr both of Brookston; a step-daughter, Josie Kelly; a step-son, Joseph Kelly and a nephew, Trevor Truett.

Preceding her in death is a brother, Dale Kerr and a special nephew, Casey Summers.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston; Pastor Ross Terry to officiate. Private family interment to be held on Monday.
