Wilma Jean Bower, 92, of Kentland, passed away at 2:30 AM, Monday, March 20, 2017 at Watseka Rehabilitation and Health Care of Watseka, IL. She was born December 19, 1924 in Fowler, IN to the late Edmund and Agatha (Benner) Bower. Wilma was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Kentland. She worked for 36 years at Dormeyer Industries of Kentland and later at the Colonial Inn. Surviving are her siblings, Ed (Jean) Bower of Crescent City, IL, Michael (Bev) Bower of Cedar Lake, IN, Norma Morgan of Onarga, IL, Joan O’Hare of Belleair Beach, FL, and Arlene Arbuckle of Bradley, IL. Also surviving is a brother-in-law, Don Kramer of Monticello, IN; sister-in-law, Jeanne Bower of Kentland, IN; special niece, Shannon DeHart of Lebanon, IN and several other nieces and nephews.  Preceding her in death along with her parents is a sister, Patricia Kramer; brothers, Wilfred, Maynard, Kenneth, and Jack Bower; brother-in-laws, Bob Morgan, and Bob O’Hare. Friends may call from 10 AM (CST) until the time of Funeral Mass 11 AM (CST) Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Kentland. Fr. Rob Bernotas to officiate.
