Ruth Provo, 98, of Wolcott, passed away at 10:25 AM, Friday, March 3, 2017 at Lakeview village Senior Living of Monticello.

She was born on February 27, 1919 in Dungannon, VA to the late John and Mossie (Wolfe) Collins. She graduated from AJ Kent High School of Kentland, IN.

Her marriage was to Henry Provo, he preceded her in death on June 13, 2000.

Ruth worked for several years as a custodian at Tri-County School Corporation until her retirement. She enjoyed spending her time gardening, planting flowers, and playing Bingo.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Mary Provo of Wolcott; grandchildren, Glenn (Heidi) Brunner of Commerce City, CO, and Shawn Skafte of Valparaiso, IN. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Seth, Evelyn, and Collin Brunner.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband are sons, John Brunner, James “Jim” Provo, and infant son, Jerry Provo.

Friends may call from 10-11 AM (EST) Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Foster-Clapper Funeral Home of Wolcott. A Graveside Service will take place following the visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Remington.
