Raymond “Toots” E. Graf, 101, of West Lafayette, formerly of Remington, passed away at 1:21 AM, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Westminster Village of West Lafayette. He was born July 3, 1915 in Benton County, IN to the late Gotlieb “Gus” and Minnie (Warner) Graf.

His Marriage was to Martha Dexter on October 5, 1940 at the Remington United Methodist Church. She preceded him in death on September 29, 2012.

Ray was a member of the Remington United Methodist Church. He farmed all of his life northwest of Remington. Ray was also caretaker for several years at Remington Fountain Park Chautauqua.

He enjoyed spending his time playing euchre, traveling in his earlier years, wintering in Arizona, and spending time with family.

Ray is survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death along with his parents and wife are siblings, William Graf, Richard Graf, Leona Goad, Darlene Culp, Maureen Ashby, and Verna Culp.

Friends may call from 3-7 PM (EST) Friday, January 13, 2017 at Remington United Methodist Church. Funeral Service 11 AM (EST) Saturday, January 14, 2017 also at Remington United Methodist Church. Pastor Jeff Smith to officiate. Interment to follow in Remington Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Raymond’s name to the Remington United Methodist Church or Fountain Park Chautauqua.
