Mary Elizabeth Cochrane, 102, of Goodland, passed away at 1:38 AM, December 30, 2016 at Rensselaer Care Center.

She was born April 18, 1914 in Brook, IN to the late Robert and Emma (Sommers) Cochrane. She was a 1931 graduate of Goodland High School. Mary attended Kendall College for two years.

Mary was a member of the United States Marine Corps. After training, she was assigned to the Marine Corp base in San Diego, CA before being discharged.

Mary worked for Crystal Dairy in Remington until her retirement at the age of 72. She enjoyed traveling with her siblings and their families to fishing trips in Wisconsin. Mary also enjoyed volunteering when she could give a helping hand.

Mary is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Carl (Genevieve) Cochrane, Walt Cochrane, and Jean (Bill) Best. She is also preceded in death by one niece.

Friends may call from 10 AM (CST) until the time of Funeral Service at 11 AM (CST) Wednesday, January 4, 2017at Trinity Lutheran Church of Goodland (217 W. Jasper St, Goodland, IN 47948). Pastor David Mueller to officiate. Interment to follow in Goodland Cemetery.
