W. George White, 95, of Peru, Indiana passed away at 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at St. Mary Healthcare of Lafayette.

He was born November 2, 1921 in Tallassee, Alabama to Mr. White and Sarah (Coleman) White.

George owned and operated White’s Trucking and Janitorial Service and was a very successful business man.

His marriage was to Sellie Johnson in Tallassee, Alabama and she preceded him in death in 1994.

Surviving are three sons, George (Pam) White, Wesley (Jackie) White and Samuel White. Also surviving are several grandchildren, two of which (Abie and Adrian Perkins) lived with him in Peru, and several great and great great-grandchildren as well.

Mr. White is preceded in death by his wife and a son, John; two daughters, Patty Williamson and Nellie Andino and two brothers, Brady and Jimmy Lee White.

Private family services are planned at Ever Rest Memorial Park Cemetery, Peru, Indiana.
