Marjorie F. Pitman, 90, of Monticello, formerly of Remington, passed away at 5:45 AM, June 13, 2016 at Lakeview Village of Monticello. She was born January 20, 1926 in Wolcott, IN to the late Archie and Hazel (Kendall) Dondlinger. She was a 1944 graduate of Wolcott High School. Along with residing in Monticello and Remington, Marjorie also was a resident of Bradenton, FL.

Her marriage was to Odell Pitman on July 3, 1944 in Fowler, IN. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1987. Marjorie was a dedicated member of the Remington Apostolic Christian Church, and the Remington Senior Citizen Center. She worked for 22 years as a volunteer at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL. Marjorie enjoyed spending her time doing crafts, sewing, and tending to her flowers.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Larry (JoEtta) Pitman of Brownsburg, IN, Linda (Brian) Comer of Winamac, IN; sister, Juanita Minnicus of Monticello, IN; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband is a brother, Quinton Dondlinger; her twin sister, Margaret Cochran.

Friends may call from 9:30 AM (EST) until the time of funeral service 10:30 AM (EST), Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Remington Apostolic Christian Church. Interment to follow in the Apostolic Cemetery of Remington.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Remington Apostolic Christian Church.
