Luella A. Jordan, 66, of Rensselaer died at 12:55 pm, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at her home. She was born November 10, 1947 to the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Williamson) Minter. She attended Rensselaer High School. She married Walter Jordan in Brook in 2012 and he preceded her in death in April 2014. Luella attended a Baptist Church while living in Tennessee. She was a homemaker and enjoyed riding her bike and giving a home to numerous cats. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Bailey of LaVergne, TN; grandchildren, Stephanie Anderson of Goodland, Paul Minter of Brook, Ciara Phillips of La Vergne, TN, Tionna Hanley of Lake Village, K'La Kibby of La Vergne, TN; 13 great grandchildren and one on the way; daughter-in-law, Trina Minter of Brook, and brother, Larry Minter of Rensselaer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Dorothy Minter; her husband, Walter Jordan; son, John Minter; and great grandson, Calvin Minter.
