She was able to visit many of them, in their homes, on a trip to the British Isles in 1991. It was in the 1960's that Aylo's lifelong love of music shined. She performed with the Brookston Music Parents in programs such as "Showboat Capers" and "Houseshoe Revue"; attended music camps with her daughters; served as Junior Choir Director for the Brookston Federated Church; and sang with the Sweet Adelines. Playing piano brought her lifelong joy. Aylo was born July 1, 1925, in Miltonvale, Kansas. She graduated from Miltonvale High School in 1943.
