Peggy Mills, 52, of Remington, passed away at 6:30 pm, Friday, December 12, 2014, at home with her family at her side. She was born March 15, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Marvin C. and Jacqueline A. (Lusher) Casey. She was raised in Mequon, WI before moving to Jasper County, IN in 1975. Peggy was a 1980 graduate from Tri-County High School. Her marriage was to Tony Mills on November 8, 1980 in the Remington United Methodist Church. He survives. Peggy babysat many local children over the years and owned Milley's Restaurant of Remington, with her husband, for 11 years. She cherished every moment spent with her family and loved being a grandmother to her five grandchildren who called her "Ma". Surviving with her husband are her three children, Amy Roberts (husband: Johnathan) of McCordsville, Erin Susek (husband: Bob), and Kerry Mills, both of Remington; and her siblings, Mike Casey (wife: Gayle), Pat Casey, Tim Casey (wife: Gina), Maureen Foster (husband: Chris), and Kathy Casey (husband: Jim Ziolkowski). She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Emma, Hanna, Henley, Preston, and Charlotte; and her father and mother-in-law, Jim and Shirley Mills. Friends may call from 4-8 pm, Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Remington United Methodist Church. Funeral service there at 11 am, Wednesday December 17, 2014 with Rev. Mary vanWijk officiating. Interment to follow in Meadow Lake Cemetery of Wolcott. Memorial contributions may be made to Jasper County Hospice.
