Florence May Gieb, 93, of Remington, died on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at George Ade Care Center of Brook, IN. She had been in failing health for the past 4 months. She was born September 18, 1920 in Eastwood, New York to Ford Ken White and Minnie (Genter) White. Her marriage was to Harold E. Geib on December 13, 1945 in Remington, IN. He preceded her in death in 1995. She had lived many places during her life, including, New York, Indiana, Illinois, Alabama, Wisconsin, Maryland, and Germany. She was a member of the Tippewa Spinners and was a homemaker. She enjoyed needle arts and hand spinning. She is survived by her son, David H. Geib (wife: Carol); two daughters, Virginia Watrous and Marilyn Wolber (husband: Kenneth); and one sister, Marjorie Leonard. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death with her parents and husband are two brothers, David White and Floris White. There will be a family graveside service at 10:30 am, Friday, October 11, 2013 at Remington Cemetery. Pastor David Mueller of Trinity Lutheran Church in Goodland to officiate.
