Beverly Jane Hughes Boyle, 66, of Lafayette, passed away at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at her residence. She was born November 19, 1946 in Lafayette to Perry J. and Garnet R. (Toumine) Hughes. She graduated from Chalmers High School in 1964. Beverly was a member of Victory Christian Center in Lafayette and worked at General Foods and then Lafayette Venetian Blind for many years. She had a passion for painting and gardening and was a graduate of Leadership Lafayette Community Leadership Program. Surviving is her mother, Garnet Hughes, two sons, Evan and Aaron McKim both of Lafayette, one sister, Pamela Hiner (husband: Bruce) of Chalmers and two brothers, Perry W. Hughes (wife: Virginia) of Chalmers and Charles "Chuck" Hughes of Brookston and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, who she adored. She was preceded in death by her father, 1 niece and 1 great-niece. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Victory Christian Center (10 N. Earl Ave., Lafayette). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
