William "Bill" Gamble, 77, of Remington, passed away on November 29, 2012 in his residence. He had been battling cancer. He was born June 15, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Irwin and Agatha (Morgan) Gamble and was a high school graduate with some college. He served in the United States Army in Germany. Mr. Gamble was raised in Chicago but lived in Remington since 1994. He was a Foreman at US Steel in Gary for many years. Bill enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. Surviving are his sons, David Gamble of Valparaiso, and Fredrick and Andrew Gamble both of Remington. Preceding him in death with his parents is a brother and one sister. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice on his behalf.
