Robert Bruce Suiter Jr., 59, of Earl Park, passed away at 8:39 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at IU Health Arnett of Lafayette. He was born on January 20, 1953 in Logansport to Robert Bruce Suiter Sr. and Margaret (Burris) Suiter. He graduated from South Newton High School in 1971. His marriage was to Jo Ann Henderson on August 30, 1976 at a family home in Attica, Indiana. She survives. Bob lived in the Earl Park area all of his life. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 455 of Earl Park, Raub United Methodist Church, and the NRA. He started farming at the age of 2, riding on the tractor with his dad. He then started farming full time at 18 after graduation. Bob and JoAnn grew their farming operation over the years and brought their daughter, Megan, into the partnership in 2001. He loved being in the field in a tractor or combine the most. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, taking family vacations, and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving with his wife and parents are his brother; Tom Suiter (wife: Patty) of Earl Park; his two sisters; Joyce Lantz (husband: Mike) of Kokomo, and Linda Sutter (husband: Gregg) of Clarks Hill; and his three daughters; Margo Marie Sik (husband: Kelly) of Lake Benton, MN, Megan Christine Strasburger (husband: Marc) of Earl Park, and Audra Jo Suiter of Earl Park. Also surviving his two grandchildren, Leah Lynn Strasburger and Stella Margaret Sik. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. (EST), Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Raub United Methodist Church with Pastor Jack Snell officiating. Interment to follow in Earl Park Cemetery.
