Clayton Tyler Moore, 36, of West Lafayette, died at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Monday, March 19, 2012 at his residence. He was born April 28, 1975 in Lafayette to Gary Moore and Kathryn Moore-Skiles. He attended McCutcheon High School. Clayton was a member of Greenbush Street Baptist Church and worked as a youth counselor at the Lynn Treece Boys and Girls Club. He enjoyed movies, video games, especially his Tiger Woods golf video game. He was also a huge basketball fan, and his favorite players were Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Surviving is his father Gary Moore (wife: Jill) of West Lafayette; his mother, Kathryn Moore-Skiles (husband: Gary) of Lafayette; brother, Tracy Moore (wife: Katia) of Kissimmee, Florida; twin brother, Clint Moore (wife: Kim) of Lafayette; step-brother, Jason Jagger (wife: Brandi) of Tuplo, Mississippi; grandparents, Bob and Anita Crumbo; aunt, Jo Ann Moore, aunt and uncle, Tom and Janice Knight; cousin, Zack Smith, good friends, Tim Silcox and Dale Sventeck, four nephews, one step-nephew and two step nieces. He was preceded in death by his father Gary's parents, Sid and Alice Moore and his step mother Jill's parents, Ralph and Iva Taylor and a niece Thia Moore. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston with Pastor Jim Chase officiating. Interment to follow at Wyandotte Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Lynn Treece Boys and Girls Club.
