Judy E. Northern, 61, of Kentland, died at 12:04 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital of Watseka, Illinois. She was born December 3, 1949 in Monticello, Kentucky to Clyde Gregory and Lillie Mae (Wallen) Enlow. She attended Watseka High School. Her marriage was to Robert Northern on June 3, 1972 in Watseka, Illinois. He survives. Judy worked at the Sundown Restaurant in Watseka as a waitress and cook for many years and later at S&S Plastics in Kentland. She enjoyed crocheting, Facebook and Court TV. Surviving with her husband is her mother, Lillie Mae (Wallen) Enlow (husband: Harold), four children, Lori A. Markley (Gregory) of Williamsport, Leslie A. Gregory and Jonathon D. Northern both of Kentland, and Jimmy D. Northern of Gifford, Oklahoma, three sisters, Mary Jo Caudillo of Kentland, Jeannie Wagner of Fowler, Juanita Trosper of Danville, Illinois, two brothers, David Gregory of Advance and George Enlow of Fowler. Judy loved and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, Maegan Rhanor, Amanda Rhanor, Ben Northern, Lesli Gregory, Braedan Gregory, Colton Gregory, Easton Gregory, Jasmine Montgomery and Tyler Northern. She is also survived by a dear family friend, Kim Reynolds and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, one sister, Joanne Gregory, one brother, Sidney Gregory, one grandson, Brandon Northern, one niece and two nephews. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. (CST) until the time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m. (CST) Monday, November 28, 2011 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Kentland. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Spina Bifida Association or the International COPD Coalition.
