Clarice J. Peterson, 85, of Kentland, died at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Green Hill Manor in Fowler. She was born on December 29, 1925 in Fingal, North Dakota to the Carl and Christine (Solie) Peterson. Clarice lived in the Kentland area most of her life and worked at Murphy's Food King for 50 years. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crafts and painting. Surviving are 6 brothers, Walter Peterson (wife: Mary), Orvis Peterson (wife: Maxine), James Peterson (wife: Carol), Ronald Peterson (wife: Cleo) and Marvin Peterson, 4 sisters, Helen Lemna, Olga Pinke (husband: Al), Jean Ussatis (husband: Jerome) and Sharon Bierley (husband: Jake), and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a sister, Alice and a brother, Merlin Peterson. Private family services being held. Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Kentland in charge of arrangements.
