Judith E. "Judy" Warren, 52, of Brookston, died at 12:10 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2009 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 31, 1957 in Lafayette to Dell Edward "Ed" and Carolyn "Cep" (Hoskins) Phebus. They survive. She was a 1975 graduate of Frontier High School and a 1978 graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. Her marriage was to Ray Warren on September 12, 1981 in Brookston Federated Church. He survives. Judy was a Registered Nurse at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis from 1978-1983, then worked as a RN at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette until retiring in 2003. For the last 10 years she has worked for Arnett Clinic Urgent Care. She enjoyed doing everything with her children and supporting them in their sports, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and trips to Florida. Surviving with her husband and parents are her children, Jeff Warren (wife: Katie) of Jasper, Kelli Warren of Chicago, and Erin Warren of Muncie; a sister, Gayle Stinson (husband: Poke) of Brookston; and 3 brothers, Doug Phebus (wife: Sue) of West Lafayette, Steve Phebus (wife: Joni) of Brookston, and Mike Phebus (wife: Corrine) of Lafayette. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Claire Marie; her special companions whom she considered her "granddogs" Wrigley and Maverick and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends and family may call from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009 and also from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. Rev.
