Deborah M. Sterrett, 52, of Wolcott, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 in her residence. She was born June 21, 1956 in Culver City, California to the late Walter and Lucille Archer Willette. She was a 1974 graduate of Lake Elsinore High School in California. On April 22, 1977 she married James Sterrett in Las Vegas. He survives. Deborah worked for Toledo Peoria and Western Railroad and as a bookkeeper at Paul Reed Buick in California and Dye Lumber in Monticello. Mrs. Sterrett was a member of the Sunday Mixed League in Monticello and a 32 year member of the Porsche Club of America. Deborah enjoyed bowling, attending car shows with her husband, camping, swimming, horses and spending time with her family. Surviving with her husband are her children, Gregory Sterrett (wife: Ruthie) of Indianapolis and Brenda Nielsen (husband: Kenneth) of Lafayette; two sisters, Donna Wooley (husband: Charles) of California; Laura Miller (husband: Ron) of Oregon; and two brothers, Vernon Willette and Walter Willette (wife: Paula) both of California. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2008 in Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2008 at 10 a.m. in Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Pretty Prairie Cemetery, Battle Ground.
