Michael R. Brennan, 68, of Remington, passed away at 4:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2019 at St. Anthony Healthcare Center, Lafayette.

He was born June 21, 1950 in Louisville, KY to the late Clarence and V. Marie (Watson) Brennan and was a graduate of Remington High School.

Mr. Brennan served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne Division, entering active duty in May 24, 1973 and was honorably discharged April 28, 1975.

He was a member of the Remington American Legion and ABATE of Indiana.

Mike sold cars for Glenbrook Dodge of Ft. Wayne and was a welder for Monon Trailer. He was a self-employed handy man for the last several years.

Mike enjoyed motorcycles, rock & roll music and playing his guitar. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are three sons, Shane Brennan (wife: Angela) of Traverse City, MI, Josh Brennan (wife: Ashley) and Damian Brennan (wife: Emily) both of Lansing, MI; a brother, Bruce Brennan of Delphi and two sisters, Pamela Pettet (husband: Charles) of Medaryville and Kathleen Williams (husband: Gerry) of Knoxville, IA. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Ava, Cora, Isabella, Josh Jr., Jenna, Taylor, Brieonna, Arianna, Landon, Trendon, Tyler and Zoe.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 4 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2019 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Remington.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Douglas H. Brennan.

In lieu of flowers the family requests all memorials to the Michael R. Brennan Memorial Fund to be used for a later good in his name.
