Norman Ray Zellers of Kentland passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020. He was born December 3, 1950 at Winamac, Indiana. He was born to Ardis Dean and Mary Ann Zellers who preceded him in death. He also had two brothers and a sister that preceded him in death. He is survived by two sisters, Janice Heater of Lafayette, Indiana and Sandra Henning of Swayzee, Indiana.

Norman was a 1968 South Newton graduate. He was a Vietnam Veteran, with boots on the ground serving in the Air Force.

Norman held a variety of jobs in his lifetime, from being a volunteer fireman, dispatcher for Kentland Sheriff’s department, restaurant manager, waiter and cook, truck driver, a co-owner of Ray Dan Construction with his dad, and many more.

Norman touched the lives of many people, coming from many walks of lives. We enjoyed his company, his humor, and his smile. While Norman will be missed, he lives in us by the experiences we shared with him and by what he taught us.

Norman was laid to rest July 10, 2020 at Bruce Lake Cemetery in a private family service.
