Thomas Lee Hoster, 76, of Wolcott, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 at IU Health Hospital of Lafayette. He was born September 19, 1944 in Sterling, IL to the late Jacob and Doris June (Ebersol) Hoster. Tom moved to Wolcott in 1988.

His first marriage was to Linda Buck, they later divorced; Linda passed away on October 14, 1991. Tom then married Betty Rowe and they also divorced.

Tom was owner and operator of BJR Express Trucking Co. for several years until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling to car and truck shows where he received many awards over the years. Tom also enjoyed Hooters restaurant, a good movie and drinking a cold beer with family and friends.

Surviving are his daughter and son, Brenda Bawden of Nora, IL and Thomas Hoster Jr. of Freeport, IL; step-sons, Travis (Annie) Rowe of Evansville, IN, Marcus (Franco) Rowe of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Nicolas (Rachel) Rowe of Avon, IN. Tom is also survived by his grandchildren, Chassidy Thruman, Chad Hoster, Chase Applegate, Ella Rowe, Claire Rowe, Carter Rowe, Amelia Rowe, Josh Jannsen, and Dylan Jannsen. Great-grandchildren, Alivia, Mitchell, Aubrey, Macie, Ellie, and Lydia.

Preceding him in death along with his parents are three siblings: Jake, Peggy, and Judy.

Friends may call from 4-6 PM (EST) Monday, October 26, 2020 at Foster-Clapper Funeral Home of Wolcott. Interment will be held at a later date in Chapel Hill Cemetery of Freeport, IL.
