Kelly J. Blennert, 52, of Lowell, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at her home. She was born December 11, 1968 in Crown Point, IN to the late John Leslie Blennert and Shirley Ann (Neal) Ward. Kelly attended Hanover Central High School.

She is survived by her two children, John (Courtney) Childers of Lafayette and Kristina “Krissy” Childers of Kentland. Also surviving are grandchildren, Logan and McCoy Childers; Tyler Honn, Nathan Changose, and Aynslie Jo.

Preceding her in death along with her parents are a husband, Nick Schmidt; sister, Shannon Blennert.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM (EST) on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Remington First Christian Church. Pastor Paul Dyke to officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kelly’s name to the American Heart Association.
