Dale E. Lehe, 81, of Remington, IN, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2021. Dale was born December 1939 to loving parents Adrien and Mathilda Lehe. Dale was cherished by his parents and extended family throughout his childhood years. Dale graduated from Remington High School in 1958 where he was in band, 4-H, FFA, and basketball. Post high school, Dale served his country in the United States Army for 3 years before returning to his passion of farming with his father Adrien for the rest of his life.

Dale married the love of his life Wilma Jean Sears in 1963. Jean and Dale were inseparable for their entire marriage. Their lives were filled with joy and love for each other that was obvious and affected anyone they met. They were “Partners” in everything they did.

Dale was a “People” person who served others through leadership of volunteer organizations. Dale was a long-term member of the Fountain Park Chautauqua board serving as president. He was a member of Farm Bureau for over 30 years serving many years as president and a member of the Iroquois Conservancy since 1987 serving as treasurer. Dale served in church and many other organizations throughout the community.

Dale’s musical ability was a source of enjoyment for his entire family. Dale also enjoyed antique tractors and a member of the Old Iron Club.

Dale was a loving father who overflowed with pride and joy concerning his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved to share every current detail about their lives to anyone who was willing to listen. His joyful smile, hilarious sense of humor and outgoing personality will be sorely missed by his family and all that knew him.

Dale was a believer of Jesus Christ and with his wife lived a beautiful life as a servant of Jesus. Whether it was playing the piano, bringing an elderly relative to church or serving others he was always ready to serve.
