Paul Edward Allison “Red”, 80, of Remington, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Franciscan East Hospital of Lafayette. He was born December 8, 1940 in Potomac, IL to the late Earl and Violet (Kelly) Allison. He was a graduate of Potomac High School.

His marriage was to Norma Sue (May) Allison on October 22, 1961 in Wadena, IN. Norma preceded him in death on December 1, 2020.

Paul worked for Northway Products for 22 years, Monon Trailer for 2 years, Tri-County High School 10 years and also worked for Dwyer Instruments of Wolcott. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being with his family.

Surviving are his children, David (Missy) Allison of Brookston and Bonnie Stone of Remington. Siblings, Ronald (Martha) Allison of Montana, Wreta (Glen) Forest of Illinois, and Dorothy Ross of Indiana. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death along with his wife and parents are 2 brothers, Wendell and Russel Allison.

Friends may call from 10 AM (EST) until the time of funeral service 12 PM (EST) Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Remington. Pastor Chauncey Lattimer of Brook Christian Church to officiate. Interment to follow in Remington Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
