Bonnie J. Bishop, 74, of Flora, Indiana, passed away with her son and family by her side, at 2:04 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 at her residence.

  Bonnie was born November 11, 1946 in Logansport, Indiana to the late Lawrence and Nelly (Westein) Mummert and was a proud graduate of Carroll High School.

  Bonnie worked for 35 years at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi until retiring due to failing health.  Bonnie also worked at the Brookston IGA and as a cook at TC’s in Battle Ground and the Oakdale Inn.

  She enjoyed playing games on her phone, watching family feud and sitting on the porch enjoying the weather.  Bonnie loved spending time with her family and her dogs and cats.  She was an avid Bill Elliott and Chase Elliott NASCAR fan.

  Surviving are two sons, Robert Bishop (wife: Angela) of Flora, IN and John Bishop (wife: Shannon) of Carthage, TN; a daughter, Kathleen Bishop of Fowler and a brother, Garry Mummert of Salem, IN.  Bonnie was so proud of her 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

  Preceding her in death with her parents is a daughter, Kaleen Bishop-Wisner, a granddaughter, Seirra Bishop and a brother, Martin Mummert.
