Martha Julia Contreras Aguilar, 65, of Monon, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was born January 7, 1956 in Jutiapa, Guatemala to the late Miguel Angel Contreras and Francisca Aguilar.

Surviving along with her husband, Marcelino Garcia are their children, Francisco Garcia (Ana Garcia) , Rosa Garcia (Ruben Galicia), Wilson Garcia (Ariana Serceno), Erick Garcia (Lucy Morales), Marta Garcia (Luis Corleto), and Gustavo Garcia (Morena Fuentes). Siblings, Jose Contreras and Adan Contreras. Grandchildren, Sayra Galicia, Dania Galicia, Jessica Galicia, Amy Garcia, Erick Garcia, Julian Garcia, Emerson Garcia, Yarelli Garcia, Alia Garcia, Jasmine Garcia, Yaretzy Corleto, and Keren Garcia.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Gloria Garcia; siblings, Santos Contreras, Berta Contreras, Juan Contreras, Vicente Contreras, and Miguel Contreras.

A viewing will be held for Martha in her home (405 N. Linden St. Monon, IN 47959) on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 beginning at 12 PM (EST). Friends and family are welcome to attend.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021, 11 AM (EST) at Bedford Cemetery of Monon.
