After a short battle with cancer our father and brother, Mark Alan Brooke, 69, passed away from us on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at his home.

His daughters are Amber Hibbs of Brookston, Shawna Zierle of Centreville, MI, and Noelle (Husband: Travis) Melton of Phoenix, AZ.

His brothers, Lynn (deceased), Steve (Joy) of West Lafayette, David (deceased), Jerry (Marilyn) of Winter Haven, FL, and his sister, Joy (Brooke) North-Garvin (Robert) of West Lafayette.

Mark was always the “baby brother” and was deeply loved by all of his siblings. He was born July 31, 1952 to the late Gwen and Rosalyn (Weaver) Brooke. He was number six in the family.

Mark’s first love was farming. He started working on area farms and eventually farming for himself. He was the happiest on a tractor or farm machinery and was able to do his own repairs. He was always working on a car in the driveway.

The girls mother, Pam (Johnson) Brooke, who passed away on November 7, 2015. Mark leaves behind three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Austin, and Ashlyne.

Friends may call from 11 AM (EST) until the time of Memorial Service 1 PM (EST) Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. A private burial will be held at Battle Ground Cemetery at a later date.
