Betty was a 1944 graduate of Chalmers High School of Chalmers, Indiana. She had lived most all her life in White County, Indiana. Betty was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church of Reynolds, Indiana, and was baptized there on March 18, 1945. She enjoyed playing bingo.
