1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information:
Joan moved to Monticello in 1936 where she resided ever since. She owned and operated Joan’s Beauty Shop for more than twenty years. Joan also worked at the Roosevelt Junior High in the cafeteria, and worked as a Social worker for White County Welfare Office for several years. She was a member of the Monticello Christian Church for over eighty years. Joan was active in the choir and CWF (Christian Women Fellowship). She was involved in Special Olympics for decades. Joan loved being with family and friends especially with her grandchildren. She had a golden heart with a warm, infectious smile. Everyone loved being around her and she will be missed by all.

Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to the White County Special Olympics. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On August 15th, 1959 in Monticello, Indiana she married Charles E. Gross. He died January 20th, 2003.
