Biographical Information:
Fred was born in Lima, Ohio. The family moved to Harvey, Illinois, where he grew up and attended school in Harvey, Illinois. He was employed for the State of Illinois Highway Department, working as the Superintendent. Fred moved to Monticello, Indiana, in 1972. He was employed by the Twin Lakes School Corporation working at Twin Lakes High School of Monticello, Indiana, from 1972 to 1985. Later he worked at Jordan Manufacturing of Monticello, Indiana. After retirement, Fred, worked summers at Indiana Beach of Monticello, Indiana. Fred was a member of the Monticello Christian Church, American Legion Sons of Legion, both of Monticello, Indiana. He enjoyed working outdoors, woodworking, dancing, and playing cards with friends. Fred was a volunteer for the Salvation Army, ringing the bell at Christmas. He loved life and people.

Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to the Riley Hospital for Children of Indianapolis, Indiana, or to the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On February 12, 2000, he married Marian Roth; she survives.
