Biographical Information:
John was a 1990 graduate of Twin Lakes High School of Monticello, Indiana, where he was active in baseball and football, which earned him a scholarship to attend Saint Joseph College in Rensselaer, Indiana. Following college he went on to excel in the inks and coatings industry, where he spent the majority of his career with INX International in the Chicago, Illinois, Region. In 2014, John and his family returned to his hometown of Monticello, Indiana, to be closer to his parents. Health concerns in 2017 revealed a devastating diagnosis of advanced Pancreatic Cancer. Unsuccessful treatments and the rapid advancement of the disease sadly led him to end his career earlier than expected. John loved Disney and insisted upon a visit to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse on every family vacation. He also loved all types of sports, especially when they involved his sons. He was instrumental in teaching them the values and fundamentals, sportsmanship and dedication to the game.

Marriage Information: On October 22, 1998, he married Rebecca (Gerard) Haygood, in Monticello, Indiana; she survives.
