Marjorie had lived in the Monticello community most all of her life, coming from Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a graduate of the Arsenal Technical High School of Indianapolis, Indiana. Marjorie had worked for the Bell Telephone Company in Indianapolis, Indiana for several years.
