Biographical Information:
Jerry was a 1958 Graduate of the Royal Centre High School, in Royal Center, Indiana. He then went on to Purdue University to get his degree in Education. While attending Purdue he played for the Purdue Men's Basketball Team. He was a member of the ATO Fraternity. After Graduating Purdue University he went to teach at Montmorenci, Indiana. Jerry coached there for 2 years. Jerry continued on to get his Master's Degree in Education from Purdue. Jerry had also worked for the Carroll County R.E.M.C. for several years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Monticello, Indiana. Jerry enjoyed and loved all sports, especially basketball and golf in his later years. Jerry was always kind and loving, treasured his family, and had a joy of life.
Special Services: Rosary Services will be conducted at 7:00 PM, on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home.
Memorial Information: May be given to the Schoenstatt of Indiana, Inc. P.O. Box 145 Delphi, IN 46923. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On November 2, 1968 in Royal Center, Indiana, he married Rennatta D. VanVoorst. She survives.
