Biographical Information:
Karl went to the George Washington High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he played football and basketball. He then went onto Wabash College transferring to I.U. School of Law graduating in 1947. Karl had a Doctorates Degree in Jurisprudence. He practiced law in Fountain County, Indiana, from 1947 until 1950. He was Prosecutor there from 1950 to 1960. He then moved to the Monticello community where he opened his law office on South Illinois St. from 1960 until 1975. Then he was appointed to complete the term of Judge Maurice Zerface in of 1975. He was then elected the Judge of White County, Indiana, Circuit Court serving from 1975 until retirement in 1987. Karl enjoyed his family, traveling, and golfing. he used to play golf at the Tippecanoe Country Club every Saturday and Wednesday playing with good friends Dr. Morris and Wynn Gilbert. Karl was a wonderful guy.
