Biographical Information:
Len had lived in the Monticello area for the past 12 years coming from Hammond, Indiana. He had owned and operated Hood's Sales & Service in Hammond, Indiana for over 50 years. Len was an avid pilot, owned and flew his own airplane most everywhere. He was also an avid NASCAR fan and flew to many of the races and even to a few Indy Car races. Len was involved with the Christian Fellowship Church in Hammond, Indiana where he served on the board and as a deacon. He had built a retirement home on Tim's Ford Lake in Tullahoma, Tennessee and had lived there for 15 years. He was a avid fisherman and would go fishing everyday while he lived at his retirement home. On his 80th Birthday, his son Dave took him out water skiing.

Marriage Information: On February 27, 1937 in Hammond, Indiana by Rev. Clyde Robabaugh, he married Doris Whitfield. She died December 10, 1961.
