Biographical Information:
Mel had lived in the Monticello community since 1965 coming from the Delphi, Indiana area. He ran Pete's Trading in rural Carroll County for a few years. Mel also delivered for Fall City Beer in Delphi, Indiana for several years. He then started his own Wrecker Service in 1965 from his home in Monticello, "Little Moe" was the name of his first wrecker. Mel owned and operated Mel's Wrecker Service up to 1997. He loved mowing and spending time on his mower. Enjoyed going to Wal-Mart to sit on the bench and watch the people. Mel never knew a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. He was a member of the White County F.O.P. (Fraternal Order of Police) and a former member of the Towing Organization of Indiana.

Memorial Information: In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the White County Relay for Life. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
