Biographical Information:
Jean had lived in the Idaville, Indiana, community all of her married life. She was a 1942 graduate of Wolcott High School of Wolcott, and the Indiana Business College. Jean was a book-keeper at the Bank of Wolcott for several years. She attended the former Eastlawn United Methodist Church of Idaville, where she taught Sunday School for several years. Jean was an Adult Leader of MYF (Methodist Youth Fellowship), was the financial secretary for the Eastlawn United Methodist Church, and was active in the United Methodist Women Ministries. Jean and her husband, Bob, currently attend the Idaville First Church of God of Idaville. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Wolcott Chapter of Wolcott, volunteered at the White County Food Pantry of Monticello for twenty (20) years, and was a life member of the White County Historical Society. Jean was a former teacher's aide at Eastlawn School. She loved attending school activities and sporting events of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marriage Information: On July 4, 1945, in Wolcott, Indiana, she married Robert G. "Bob" Scroggs. He survives.

"Bob" Scroggs of Idaville, Indiana; Daughters, Nancy "Cindy" (husband Dan) Gottschalk of Delphi, Indiana, and Kathryn Scroggs of Monticello, Indiana; Three (3) Grandchildren, Stephen (wife Regina) Gottschalk of Rossville, Indiana, Sarah (husband Roger) Davis of Lafayette, Indiana, and Leah (husband Malachi) Jaggers of Delphi, Indiana; Two (2) Great Grandchildren, Zane and Brenna Gottschalk, both at home in Rossville, Indiana; Brother, Donald (wife Emily) Deardorff of Indianapolis, Indiana.
