64 year old Jerry A. Strantz, of Francesville, Indiana, passed away at 8:41 a.m., Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital of Lafayette, Indiana.

Jerry was born on Thursday, January 9, 1958, in Monticello, Indiana, to the late Lawrence Eugene "Gene" and Selma (Wagner) Strantz. 

 
Jerry had lived in the Francesville, Indiana, area most all of his life.

 

Visitation will be from 12:00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2022, here at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana. 

 

Celebration of Life Service will be here at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2022, with his son, Brian Strantz officiating.

 

Burial will follow at the Chalmers Cemetery of rural Chalmers, Indiana.    

Biographical Information:
   Jerry had lived in the Francesville, Indiana, area most all of his life.  He was a 1976 graduate of Twin Lakes High School of Monticello, Indiana.  Jerry had farmed for many years.  He had worked in maintenance at Rockland Flooring of Monon, Indiana.  Jerry loved all his family, friends, gardening, and trucking.  He was a true country boy and would do anything for anybody.

Brian (wife Dona) Strantz of Panama City, Florida, and

Anthony "Tony" (companion Kelleigh) Strantz Morrillton, Arkansas;

Ashna Strantz,

Carsyn Emery,

Kannon Strantz,

Anthony Strantz, and 

Aric Strantz;

Julie (husband Larry) Brown of Eaton, Indiana,

Jan Lord of Burnettsville, Indiana, and

Jill (husband Peter) Ingram of Seminole, Florida;
