Biographical Information:
Mary  was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and attended grade school through the Catholic Diocese. Her family then moved to the Chalmers, Indiana, area.  Mary attended her middle school years at Frontier Middle School.  Her family then bought a house on the Big Monon of rural Monon, Indiana.  Mary's high school years were at North White High School of Monon, Indiana, and that is where she met the love of her life Roger.  She was a 1971 graduate of North White High School of Monon, Indiana. Mary was a farm wife and tended to the kids and the pigs!! Once the kids were raised and the pigs were done, Mary drove a school bus for the North White School Corporation of Monon, Indiana, for almost thirty years and retired in 2018.  Her family and grandkids were everything to her!!!!  She was always known to be sitting in the stands of all her kids and grandkids sporting activities and life events!!!!!  Everyone knew that "Mother Mary" could cook for an army in a very short period of time.  Nobody ever went away hungry (if they did it was their own fault).  Mary loved and enjoyed camping, boating, spending time in the pool (especially with her buddy Logan), gardening (everyone knew the beautiful flowers she had), and most recently relaxing on her new sun room porch.  Most importantly, Mary had a Servant's Heart (she was a "nice lady")!!!!!

On June 26, 1971, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Reynolds, Indiana, she married the love of her life, Roger Westerhouse; he survives. They had celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2021, surrounded by all of their family.
