64 year old Randy J. Elizalde, of Lafayette (formerly of Monticello), Indiana, passed away at 9:10 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital of Lafayette, Indiana, with his family by his side. 

Randy was born on Friday, May 23, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jesse G. and Lucille A. "Lucy" (Leckner) Elizalde. 

 

He had lived most of his life in the Monticello, Indiana, area. 

Visitation will be from 12:00 (noon) to 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2022, here at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.  

 

Celebration of Life Service will be here at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2022.

 

Clergy: Father Chris Miller of the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church of Monticello, Indiana. 

 

Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery of rural Monticello, Indiana.

 

Memorials may be given to the American Kidney Foundation.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home, 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana, 47960. 

 

Biographical Information:

   Randy had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area most all his life and was a 1976 graduate of Twin Lakes High School of Monticello, Indiana. For years, Randy and his deceased twin brother, Ricky, used to deliver milk to several area schools when their father, Jesse, owned and operated Prairie Farms Milk & Ice Cream of Monticello, Indiana. He and his brother, Scott, then owned and operated Prairie Farms Milk and Ice Cream of Monticello, Indiana.  Randy then owned and operated the former Randy's Drive Inn of Monticello, Indiana. He then owned and operated the former Beaks & Fins Restaurant of Reynolds, Indiana. Randy retired after his health declined and moved to Lafayette, Indiana, to be closer to his daughter, Kali. He enjoyed people, hot rods, Fox News, and fishing.

Kali (husband Kyle) Elizalde - Bledsoe of Lafayette, Indiana;

Sherry (husband Kevin) Barker of Ogden Dunes, Indiana,

Scott (wife Brenda) Elizalde of Monticello, Indiana, and

Kristie (husband Ken) Lane of Monticello, Indiana;

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
